FAQ

What is a home inspection?
The 5 main areas of focus are: Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, Roofing, and HVAC (Heating & Cooling).

Find out if your home inspector belongs to a professional association.
Yes, we belong to OREIA and attend continuing education seminars quarterly.

Will you receive a report on-site or will you wait?
Yes, you will receive a 14 page computer generated report with photos when necessary.
All reports will be electronically archived so you can call 5 years from your inspection date and we can still talk about your home.

What type of testing equipment will be used?
We use moisture meters, voltage testers, thermometers, and a trained eye.

What areas of the home will be inspected?
We get as up-close and personal with every area that is accessible. Attics, crawl spaces, basements, and all rooms of the home.

Will you take the time to review the report?
Yes, we purposely only schedule 2 inspections per day, so we can take as much time as necessary to review all the information of your report and answer any questions.

What is the average time it will take to inspect a home
The average sized home takes 2.5-3 hours.
It is most important for you to be there at the end of the report.
